We are at the back of the
theater and I can just see a small group of youths talking around a fire “here
he comes” I heard one of them say. a man
steps out of the shadows, dressed in an old, tatty waistcoat and a pair of
ripped shorts. He is about five foot tall and is speaking in a high yet broken
voice. He seems to be crediting them and sharing out the items from they had
stolen the previous days.
Just got back from talking
to Charlie he says that the man was a registered criminal and that a few years
back, ran a scam called ‘The Program Wire’
He’s disappeared back into
the shadows and the youths are beginning to become rowdy again. Charlie’s
thinking of leaving it for another day but the others are saying that it would
be a wast
